Over the past eight years, Tarrant County Tuesday has highlighted the guarded and gated community of Montserrat.

Located southwest of downtown Fort Worth with near 150-foot cliffs where homes can see for miles and miles, Montserrat has become one of Cowtown’s go-to neighborhoods for luxury, privacy, and the kind of comfort that comes along with it.

Everyone will find plenty to like about 4608 Cardona Court.

As a parent of a teen who loves to hang out with her friends as much as possible, I have come to realize that the homes that are comfortable for hanging out and that offer plenty of entertainment options are the homes where everyone congregates.

This property is such a home — a home of luxury and privacy and yet a home that is comfortable and offers plenty of entertainment options for all ages.

The open kitchen and living area

Luxury And Comfort in Montserrat

Built in 2013 and situated on over one-half of an acre, this Mediterranean-inspired home of stone and stucco certainly highlights detail and luxury. With five bedrooms, five full baths, and two half-bathrooms in more than 5,400 square feet of living, there’s certainly plenty of space.

This is where everyone ends up anyways, so it’s a good thing there’s plenty of space.

The home is filled with beautiful details and finishes that highlight the luxury of the home. Beautiful hand-scraped hardwood floors, richly stained beams on the ceilings in various rooms, and a meticulously built groin-vaulted ceiling in the dining room showcase the blend of modern design and timeless elegance, offering an extraordinary living experience for those with discerning tastes.

Beautifully laid hand-scraped wood floors give the home a luxurious feel.

But floors and beams and details are not why people love to live and hang out in a home. We want homes that look and feel good but also aren’t so stuffy that we can’t relax and enjoy.

Of course, everyone eventually hangs out in the kitchen area. It’s a good thing because the kitchen is open and inviting. With a large island and plenty of space in the huge built-in refrigerator and freezer, this is where friends will plop down and enjoy a glass of wine and chat.

Plenty of spaces for tasty beverages to be stored

Did I mention wine? It’s a good thing that the home has a good-sized spot for beverage storage of all shapes and sizes to enjoy.

If teens are looking for a place to be — and not to be bothered — this is the home. Upstairs is an open second living area, a workout room, and a media room. As a former teen, I would suggest monitoring those areas from time to time when the youths visit.

The media room is undoubtedly a place for entertainment. No animals were harmed with the making of the carpet — at least, we don’t think.

Outdoor Oasis

Yes, it’s getting warmer out there these days, but with the constant breeze off of the cliffs of Montserrat and plenty of shade under the large patio and the separate cabana, the backyard is certainly a crowd-pleaser.

Let’s face it, kids and teens don’t care how hot it is outside, they just want to splash around and tan (ugh, if they’d only listen to us about the sun … oh well) and have a good time. Those of us with long-sleeved swim shirts and floppy hats will enjoy lounging under the deep patio and grilling while staying away from that nasty fireball in the sky.

Comfort, enjoyment, luxury, and style — it’s all possible at 4608 Cardona Court in Montserrat. Having a home where friends, family, and even today’s youth might want to congregate is a rare treat and yet possible right here.

Debbie Petty of The Pursuit Group with Williams Trew Real Estate has listed the home and its many amenities at 4608 Cardona Court in Montserrat for $1.9 million dollars.
