Thursday, Musk announced that Tesla’s headquarters would move to Austin. The mayor and governor welcomed this news with open arms and then I think every Realtor’s head must have begun to spin.
Will any of the twelve key executives relocate? What about employees who became Teslanaires when Musk offered stock options as part of compensation and benefits packages? I’m betting we’ll see enough relocations to make a sizable dent in the Austin luxury rental market because you know inventory is low, and it’s taking forever to build. So, I’m predicting high-end leases are about to catch fire.
