Allie Beth Allman’s Kimberly Ashmore loves houses. Especially the one she recently listed in Casa View Oaks.

Ashmore says she sells a lot of special houses in every price range and no doubt, she loves them all but she, like, love-loves this one. In fact, it’s one of her favorite listings.

She calls it an adult playland. Why, you ask? Is there a water slide? A water wiggle? Anything water related? A bubble machine? NO. It’s an ADULT playland.

It’s a gorgeous glass house that’s surrounded by a privacy fence so you can still crank up Bob Seeger and recreate the scene from Risky Business that’s been way overdone. (And now you can overdo it, too!)

What makes this home extra special – aside from that fact that it’s a *cough* Cliff May – is the current owner is an architectural designer that took care of some of the big-ticket items that, let’s be honest, are the least fun to spend money on. Like HVAC and electrical and windows and dang, in a glass house that can add up.

The interior has been completely updated as well. The kitchen is remodeled, and the bathrooms are, too, and get this – the cabinets aren’t white. How’s that for a refreshing change of pace?

“What about the exterior, Nikki? Could I host my friends?”

Most definitely. There’s a courtyard and a sweet little side yard, too. Both covered by nylon sails to throw a little shade your way on the sunniest of days. There’s also a hot tub, so there is something water related in this adult playland. WHAT? Yep. Grab a sandwich and take a soak.

Speaking of outside, there’s an elementary school in the neighborhood, a private Montessori nearby, and a park across the street.

If you’re into Midcentury Modern homes with clean lines and an affordable price tag, Ashmore can’t recommend Casa View Oaks enough. She calls it hip, chic, and up and coming.

It’s also an incredible little pocket in East Dallas where you’re close to everything – White Rock Lake, The Arboretum, restaurants, shops, Super Yoga Palace, Humble Pie, etc. – but not too close.

Ashmore listed 2614 Andrea, a 1,337-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom work of art at $395,000, and it’s going, going, gone.

Ashmore said they had offers before they even hit the Open House so if you’re wondering if it’s a hot market, grab some oven mitts because it most definitely is.
