This little condo is a bit of a hidden gem. It’s in West Richardson, has easy access to North Central Expressway (which means easy access to basically the world), and it’s close to cute restaurants and shops.
It’s a chill little area and a true community. Like a more mature Melrose Place without vixens exacting revenge.
The location is Part One of why to love it.
Like location within the city and then there’s the location within the complex. It’s an end unit with two yards and only one shared wall. Keller Williams’ Nanette Myrlin pointed out that it really lives like a townhouse even though the official title is condominium.
The side and back yards are so cute and well-manicured, and the boulder out there is something the owners brought in on their own. Typically, they have it surrounded by flowers and it’s a real eye-catcher. This year, hey, we’re all a little behind, aren’t we? But rest assured when you take up residence you can bring those blooms back.
Now the third and final and most major reason to love this one is the updates.
And get this, they were completed in 2012, but they’re so timeless and classic, 10 years later and they’re still looking good. Real good.
Part of that is a testament to the owners. Not only did they lovingly update it with real nailed-in hardwoods, but they also handled this little dreamboat with kid gloves. It literally looks like it’s never been lived in.
Myrlin also pointed out that if you don’t love the color of the hardwoods, that’s the beauty of, you know, hardwoods. You can sand them down and make them any color you’d like. She said the owners are the types of people that tend to over-update in a good way. They don’t just make it pretty, they use quality materials, too.
Now one more fun tidbit about this complex? Myers said her husband reminded her they almost bought a unit back in the day. Back then the buying bonus was a ceiling fan. Oh, how times have changed.
Myrlin has 777 Custer Road, Unit 4-4 listed for $349,900.
