Ebby Halliday Companies Lead Sales Volume in Preston Hollow Area 11

With so many excellent residential brokerages vying annually for a piece of one of Dallas’ prized real estate pies – Preston Hollow/North Dallas, a.k.a., Area 11 – leaving the dessert table with the biggest slice is quite a coup.

As in many years past, the 75-year-old Ebby Halliday Companies – comprising Ebby Halliday Realtors, Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate and WilliamsTrew – once again achieved that honor for 2019, and they enjoyed it a la mode. They beat out the competition in both total sales volume and homes sold, at all price points, and also for those in the $1-million-plus range.

This is quite a feat considering Area 11’s average price point of $928,054 last year was well above the citywide average of $414,792.

Area 11 encompasses the neighborhoods located (roughly) within I-635, US-75, Northwest Highway and Midway Road, and boasts some of the finest homes and estates in all of the city. The likes of former President George and Laura Bush, Margot Perot, Mark Cuban and countless C-level executives, athletes, philanthropists, everyday business people, families and others, settle here for a variety of reasons. Room to breathe, topography and trees top the list of obvious draws, as do privacy, excellent schools and proximity to downtown and airports.

The end of Q1 2020 is fast approaching, and it looks like EHC may continue holding steady with market share, based on both volume and number of homes sold.
