East Dallas brokerage Local Resident Realty has moved its two teams to Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate.

Local Resident Realty, a small but mighty East Dallas brokerage with a big Lake Highlands/Lakewood market share, recently announced that its five founding partners are dissolving the brand and transferring their licenses to Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate.

“Together, Amy Timmerman, Beth Arnold, Glen Christy, Jason Thomas, and Robin Moss Norcross have sold hundreds of homes over the last five years,” said DPMRE Lakewood Sales Leader & Ebby Halliday Companies Vice President Betsy Cameron. “They have been on an incredible journey building a successful and reputable firm, but they came to an agreement that it’s the right time to pursue the next step in their respective careers. And thankfully, that is here with us.”

Arnold, Timmerman, and Norcross will become the B*A*R Group (an acronym of first names), while Christy and Thomas will form TREND (The Real Estate Network Dallas) Group.

The Local Resident Realty founding partners issued a joint statement: “We are beyond grateful for our wonderful clients and want them to know it will be business as usual moving forward. Nothing has changed except the sign on our door, and we’re available to serve your real estate needs as always.”

“We’re thrilled to welcome these two teams to the Ebby Halliday Companies family,” said President Carolyn Rosson. “Their strategy – and the secret to their success – has been to focus on a high level of customer service, exceed customer expectations, and use social media effectively to boost sales. They also have a loyal client base because they are deeply ingrained in the areas where they do business. They will have our full support, along with our industry-leading resources, to continue doing what they do so well.”
