Tavolo Park is a rising neighborhood in the southwest part of Fort Worth boasting a charming space with a close-knit community.

Highland Homes, one of the three homebuilders of the new neighborhood, describes Tavolo Park as “one of Fort Worth’s most anticipated new communities.”

Though there is a lot of appeal, one of the most valuable characteristics of the community is its ideal location.

Sitting just off the Chisolm Trail Parkway, all of Fort Worth is easily accessible to Tavolo Park residents. It is only 10 miles from Fort Worth’s cultural district near downtown, the Shops at Clearfork and the historical district in Fairmount.

It is also located just two miles down the street from Benbrook Lake, helping to make recreational time and summer days easier for parents.

And while the community has a Fort Worth address, it sits within Crowley ISD boundaries. The school district is a continually improving school district, outperforming many of the districts surrounding it.

The community itself offers acres of open green space with walking and biking trails, community parks, a town lake and picnic areas, surrounded by hundreds of trees.

“Tavolo” is the Italian word for “table,” its website explains, and one its most unique features is its community center — called the “Big Table” — with a state-of-the-art clubhouse, large pool, event lawn, fire pit, and beer garden.

Now in phase two of the building process, coming soon to Tavolo Park is a new active adult community for active adults aged 55 and older.

The developers, Ladera, estimate 185 homes will be built on 40 acres, with a putting green, a pickle-ball court, “The Hub” — a clubhouse with a fitness center and catering kitchen — and “The Porch” — a pool surrounded with grills, covered patios and a fire pit. Adult living homes will start in the low $300s.

Highland Homes currently has one move-in ready home, on a 50-foot lot, available for $450,000. It also has 14 home plans available, allowing residents to build their own homes on a 60-foot lot, starting at $398,990.

David Weekley Homes has eight move-in ready homes available for purchase, starting at $312,990.
