Former NBA Pro Eduardo Najera Lists Super Tall Kings Gate Manse for Mega Bucks

GetMedia-ext-2First of all, this is one tall dude! Eduardo (who is kind of hot, ya know?) is 6 feet 8 inches tall. Wow. No wonder he needed such a big house. No Frank Lloyd Wright Bauhaus for this guy. Tall ceilings should be covered by his health insurance!

The former NBA pro has played with the Mavericks (Go Mavs!), the Denver Nuggets, the New Jersey Nets and the Charlotte Bobcats. Cute name, Bobcats. He now coaches the Texas Legends of the NBA D League. And he is selling this gigantic Mediterranean on a .8 acre lot up in Kingsgate. The lot is almost an acre, and the home is a whopping 10,852 square feet two story! There are rich, towering ceilings, ornate moldings, walls and walls of windows, arched walkways, columns, and a very versatile floor plan.

Well of course it is — how can 10,000 square feet NOT be versatile? Anything over 3,000 is versatile. Deion Sanders’ Prosper spread is versatile, too. Eduardo_Najera

This is 6436 Sudbury, Dallas but Lewisville ISD. The formal living room features two-story ceilings — remember, Eduardo really needs them. He is a TALL dude. There are windows overlooking the pool, a walk-in wet bar and millwork cluster wusters. That’s my new word for all the goobly-ga ga woodwork (SO. LABOR. INTENSIVE!) we see in some fancy pants homes. The dining room has a handy dandy butler’s pantry, and glass wall showcasing a fabulous wine room grotto tucked behind the staircase. Handy to go grab more vino when dining. The kitchen is decked out with granite countertops, custom cabinetry, a huge island with prep sink, high end appliances, and  breakfast area with walk-in wet bar. The family room sports tall wood beams (I wonder if Eduardo can touch them?) soaring cathedral ceiling, fireplace, built-ins, hardwoods, and wall of windows.

Yep, this is another order-your-Windex-by-the-case house. Also paper towels. Hence the great closet space.

Now you are in Kingsgate so go ahead, spread out your home. None of this squeezing in the master. No siree, we have a sprawling huge master with sitting area, spa bath, his/hers walk-in closets, full coffee bar, even a spiral staircase to a private upstairs office! Or whatever. There is a study  nearby with wood paneled walls and built-ins, and then a wonderful guest suite with full bath & walk-in closet. Same floor. I’m telling you, you get it all up here and then some.

All the secondary bedrooms are supersized with en suite baths & walk-in closets. There is a game room, natch, with wet bar & balcony, a media room with bar & theater lighting, an exercise studio with sauna, and even guest quarters (not to be confused with guest room, because there is that, too) with a great living area/kitchen/bed/bath!

The backyard is a veritable paradise with negative edge pool, huge play yard, outdoor kitchen, and outdoor living area with fireplace. I kind of want to see a giant chess set out here, don’t know why, but I do. The landscaping is stunning. And the entire spread is still fairly new, having been built in 2006.  Even those clay rook tiles look brand new.

Oh and guess, just take a guess, how many bays are in Eduardo’s garage? FIVE! So for all you consumers who get frustrated when a house has only 2 bays — most homeowners now want 3 — just head up to Kingsgate and check out Sudbury.

There is one thing I don’t understand: the seller, that’s Eduardo, is excluding the refrigerator in the garage and all the TV’s in the house. They look wall-mounted. Asking $2,499,000. I don’t know, I just thought if you were selling a $2.5 million dollar home you could afford some new TVs when you move?  I don’t know. Maybe they have sentimental value?

Listed with Cindy O’Gorman of Ebby, who sold $147,000,000 last year 2014. Talk about tall! That woman is going to be enjoying some HIGH LIVING herself!6436-Sudbury-ext
