
Lubbock, Texas, was the unlikely scene where one man spent over nearly 35 years creating a house that was intended far more to be sculpture than livable. Robert Bruno built the entire thing himself out of Corten steel.
However, the house wasn’t (and still isn’t) finished. The steel behemoth was bequeathed to his daughter, then sold this past fall.
Now, the plan is to make it an Airbnb rental.
