Daltxrealestate.com sat down with Lynn Urban, the builder of the new Sur Le Lac luxury condominiums, a community of 40 new homes nestled inside prestigious Normandy Estates in Plano. The condos’ convenient location is near bustling high-end shopping and restaurants at Legacy West and The Shops at Legacy.

Why did you name this development Sur Le Lac?

“Sur le Lac” is French for “on the lake,” which these units are. In addition to the stocked lake, there are breathtakingly beautiful, manicured grounds with walking paths throughout. The Plaza between the buildings is a lovely green space with a fire pit, fountain, and seating areas.

These homes are inside Normandy Estates – tell us about that.

Sur Le Lac is located within Normandy Estates, a gated community with homes averaging $3 million. It’s located near Legacy West and the Shops on Legacy with an abundance of stylish restaurants and shopping. It’s also near the Dallas North Tollway and 121, so you can get to just about anywhere in the Metroplex including DFW Airport with ease.

Tell us about the finish out in the homes.

The condos are brand new with very high-end finishes, including Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances, marble, and quartzite. They have high ceilings, gracious room sizes, and each of the patios and balconies have phantom screens for privacy and gas outlets for grills. All the units are two bedrooms with two and a half baths, plus a study, and range in square footage from 2,400 to 3,000.

Tell us about Starside Construction.

Starside is the developer of all of Normandy Estates and has built most of the homes in the community. They’ve been building for over a decade, with 150+ years of experience behind them, and they focus on only high-end construction and finish out.

What other amenities can people expect to enjoy at Sur Le Lac?

There is a luxury amenity center featuring a swimming pool, spa, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, and putting green. In addition, each unit is deeded two underground parking spaces (with elevators) and a large storage unit with electrical outlets are included for charging everything from tools to an electric car.

Are there any incentives currently?

The units are under construction with a move-in date of November and they’re offering a $25,000 signing bonus for the next four units sold. Call Lynn Urban for a tour and more details at 214-226-1780.
