This week, we’re looking at homes that range from $479K to $1.095M, including an architect-designed new Oak Lawn townhome, a historic Munger Place Colonial, and a newer Tudor with almost 5,000 square feet, located right next to Lakewood Country Club in East Dallas. All five are fabulous.

Open house: Saturday, June 25, 2-4 p.m.

The property at 3715 Colvin Ct. is one of eight new townhomes built by Centre Living and designed by award winning architect Russell Buchanan. It has a cool, cerebral design aesthetic and loads of appealing amenities, like a private courtyard, hardwood floors, and 10-foot ceilings. This townhome has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a half bath, and 2,069 square feet on three stories, located near Gilbert and Oak Lawn avenues.

On the first floor, a two-car garage, the courtyard, an entryway, storage, and a guest bedroom/home office. The second floor features an open floorplan for the kitchen, living room, and dining room area, with soaring ceilings and recessed lighting. On the kitchen’s island, a reclaimed wood breakfast bar is on-trend, and there are lots of white built-in cabinets, and stainless steel appliances, including a super modern vent hood and gas cooktop. The third story is all for the master suite, with a large walk-in closet with a custom closet system and a bathroom with dual sinks, a garden tub, separate shower with frameless glass, and a medicine cabinet.

It was listed June 14 by David Griffin with David Griffin & Co. for $575,000, and there is no HOA fees for this townhome.

Open house: Saturday, June 25, 12-2 p.m.

The charming Traditional at 5923 Winton St. has some serious style — it is staged to show off function and flow, making the most of its 1,894 square feet. This home was built in 1940, expanded in 2005 to now have three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Its Austin stone exterior and smart landscaping makes for cute curb appeal, and the home has two living areas with a wonderfully chic living room — check out that wallpaper and chandelier! The kitchen has lots of custom cabinetry, granite countertops, a stone backsplash, and stainless steel appliances. The home has hardwoods throughout and the bedrooms are good-sized. The 2005 additions to the home include an attached garage, new electrical wiring, new HVAC, low-E windows, a sprinkler system, and new roof.  The interior was freshly painted and backyard landscaped in 2014, and the home is in the Stonewall Jackson Elementary attendance zone.

It was listed June 19 by Catherine Blevens with Rogers Healy and Associates for $479,000.

Open house: Sunday, June 26, 12-2 p.m.

The Munger Place Colonial at 5019 Victor St. was originally built on lower Swiss Avenue in 1920, and moved to its current location in 1980. At this time, it got an interior refresh, but still maintained its vintage charms (look at that wonderful, welcoming front porch!). It’s large for its era: 2,628 square feet with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a half bath.

You’ll fall in love with this home’s details, like rich wood window casings, a long driveway to a detached two-car garage, hardwood floors, an original fireplace, and oversized rooms.

It was listed June 17 by RoseMarie LaCoursiere with Ebby Halliday Realtors for $520,000.

Open house: Sunday, June 26, 3:30-5 p.m.

The Tudor at 6311 Club Lake Ct. is a newer build, constructed in 1992, but it has lots of historic charm in its 4,924 square feet. It’s located on a cul-de-sac next to the Lakewood Country Club in Brookside Estates and has four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and two half bathrooms.

The house offers gracious formals and an updated kitchen with granite counters, a large breakfast island, breakfast area, and stainless steel appliances. The newly renovated master retreat has a spa-like bath with a soaking tub, glass shower, custom cabinets, and a walk-in closet. The home also has hardwood floors, a study, game room, large utility room, and a motor court with a electric gate. The backyard offers outdoor living with a covered living area that features a grill with a vent-a-hood.

It was listed June 20 by the Jackson Team at Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate for $1.095 million.

This home has four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, one half bath, and 3,299 square feet, built in 1978. Certain parts are a little dated, but for this price and that amount of space, it can be updated!

The home has been meticulously maintained by its original owners, featuring two master suites, a game room, media room, and private backyard oasis with a swimming pool.

It is listed by Cynthia Lopez with Ebby Halliday Realtors for $479,000.
