Lucinda Buford has long been among the most esteemed agents in Dallas real estate. Her success is the product of a drive to be the best and a passion for helping people. Over the past year, she has taken her business to even greater heights by closing more than $48 million in sales.

That year just happens to coincide with Buford’s move to Allie Beth Allman & Associates. According to her, having access to the firm’s unparalleled network played a big role in growing her business.

“I think that being with a broker that has such a tremendous presence in my market is a major asset,” she says. “When I switched to Allie Beth, I got the attention of more clients who then began referring me to other clients.”

Like all Allman agents, Buford takes an entrepreneurial approach to her job. That starts with creating a business plan and focusing on one client at a time.  Her goal is always to lead them where they want to go whether that’s buying a home, selling a home, or finding an ideal investment property.

Of course, establishing a plan is only the beginning. Buford believes it is just as important to constantly self-evaluate and identify what can be done better. She is always looking for ways to up her game. Over the past few years, she’s earned her broker’s license, allowing her to offer more expert advice.  She also began working with a business coach to help give her clients an added advantage

“It’s always fun to learn,” she says. “I think you can always better yourself, which strengthens your business to your clients.”

Buford has a degree in psychology and knows that sometimes her most important role is being a listener.  Armed with the information her clients share, she can not only meet their immediate needs but even anticipate their future ones.

Sometimes that may mean not buying or selling now, but that doesn’t faze her because her goal is not just an immediate sale.  Instead, she’s committed to building long-lasting relationships and helping clients reach their long-range dreams.  It’s a philosophy that her colleagues at Allie Beth share wholeheartedly

“I’ve felt incredibly supported,” she says. “It’s hard to move and make any change, but it absolutely was the right thing for me.”

When the best joins the best, great things are possible.

Allie Beth Allman & Associates continues to be Dallas’ luxury dealer thanks to its overarching commitment to service and clients. By assembling a team of the area’s best real estate professionals, the extraordinary has become the expected. It’s a tribute to people like Lucinda Buford who never settle for less than the best because that’s what every client deserves.
