There’s not a better place to watch the 4th of July parade than 3828 Monticello Drive  (photos: Trey Freeze Media)

Let’s face it, we all want to be in the front of the line don’t we? We want to be first to watch batting practice, get the best seat in the theater, or buy the hot new gadget.  Who wants to go to a concert and sit in the back, or be the last row in an airplane?  No thank you.

As the Fourth of July approaches, it’s time to start thinking of where you’re going to be for the annual neighborhood parade.  Of course, you want to be in front.

Front-Row Seating

If you lived at 3828 Monticello Drive in Fort Worth all you would need to do to be in the front row of the annual Monticello neighborhood Fourth of July parade would be to open your door and walk to the curb!

This beautiful French-inspired home is in the heart of the Monticello neighborhood, minutes from parks, shops, stores, restaurants, and downtown Fort Worth.

Built in 1966, the five-bedroom, four-and-one-half bathroom home of 4,207 square feet has been updated and modernized and looks fantastic.

Regal flooring and finishes adorn 3828 Monticello Drive.

Elegant herringbone wood floors greet you upon entry and take you to the formal dining or living room on either side of the entry.

Throughout the home are finishes and touches that are nothing but first-class taste.  In all the home has a cozy den, upstairs living, spacious brick patio, and covered balcony overlooking the pool.  Of course, don’t forget the master suite with a spa-like bathroom and two large closets.

After the Parade

After you enjoy your front row view of the Fourth of July parade, what will you do?  If you’re like most, you’ll end up in the kitchen or backyard.  Good thing 3828 Monticello Drive has a chef’s dream kitchen and a relaxing and entertaining backyard.

The perfect place to hang out after a day of parading.

Regardless of the holiday — even if it’s not a holiday — it always seems that people congregate in the kitchen.  This is the perfect kitchen to do just that.  Calcutta Danby marble adorns the counters along with stainless appliances and a large walk-in pantry.

If the outdoors is more your desire after a day of flag-waving then take a dip in the swimming pool.
