We’ve even written about the phenomenon a few times. And while some price points are beginning to see an increase in inventory, that $200,000 range are still sitting at much less than two months.

So when we saw Katie Apperson with Real Estate Reformation post this adorable blue home in Crest Ridge Estates in Garland for $206,000 on Facebook last week, we had to pump her for some details.

I mean, you couldn’t miss that blue.

Located at 1524 Hilltop Dr., Apperson said the 1954 Midcentury bungalow has had a complete refresh.

“Everything has been redone in the home,” she said. “Paint, carpet, wood flooring, granite countertops, cabinets, whole bathrooms, outside paint, and fixtures.”

“Of course, you can’t miss the blue paint! I LOVE it!”

Apperson calls it a “wow home,” and she’s right. The four-bedroom, two bath home is nearly like new with all those updates, and with that price point, it’s perfect for first-time buyers looking to become homeowners.

The open floor plan flows from a living room to dining space, and then to an L-shaped kitchen with granite counters and stainless steel appliances.

Two generous bedrooms and a shared bath have gotten updates, and the master suite is spacious and sequestered from the other rooms, boasting an en-suite with a large tub, and a walk-in closet.

The 1,445 square foot home sits on 7,623 square feet, meaning that you have a nice, big backyard with plenty of shade provides a blank slate for your gardening and/or entertaining wishlists.

Wondering about schools? Garland ISD offers school choice throughout the district, which means you can check out schools and see which three are the best fit for your child. Garland ISD got a B grade from the state’s A-F grading system.
