Talk about move-in ready! This fabulous Lake Highlands Mid Century Modern at 9745 Wisterwood Drive is available fully furnished—down to the rugs on the floor and up to the artwork on the walls. And, it’s furnished flawlessly by someone who has excellent taste, impeccable style, and… you may even know him!

Bruce Osgood, of Osgood O’Neil salons, is selling his sleek and chic 2,200-square-foot Mid Century Modern home in the White Rock North addition of Lake Highlands. He’s moving to a home with a completely different style, so he’s fine with leaving his wonderful high end, hand-picked furnishing behind. Imagine not only getting a wonderfully updated house but also not having to hunt and peck for just the right pieces to make it feel like home. The concept of purchasing a furnished home is not that unusual in the California market and it’s nice to see it happening in Dallas. Most people are just overwhelmed with the buying process. Add in trying to find the right pieces for a home with a definitive style and it’s one reason furnishing a house like this can be a very long, ongoing process that is, frankly, often never complete.

Baird Hicks of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s has this wonderful contemporary three-bedroom, two-bathroom home listed for $730,000. She actually sold the home to previous owners prior to Osgood.

“It had clean lines and was very contemporary,” she said. “When I walked back in after Bruce had remodeled, enlarged, and added his eclectic touch, I just thought ‘WOW’ this is a happy house! I knew he had a vision when he bought the home. He really turns ordinary into extraordinary! He’s a cool guy so of course he made it look very cool.”

(The same can be said of his touch with tresses!)

There were excellent 1960 bones to work with, but Osgood’s vision is apparent from the sliding glass doors across the back that flood the entire home with light, to the immaculate new white kitchen with Cesarstone counters—hugely practical— and a chic Ann Sacks tile backsplash.

Osgood redid the entire back yard, creating an outdoor living area with multiple areas for entertaining. Oh and that gorgeous pool does indeed feature even more Ann Sacks glass tile. Those are the little touches that make such a difference in a home.

If your suitcase is ready, head over to the open house Sunday, Aug. 28 from 2-4 p.m., sign on the dotted line, and all you have to do is unpack. PS: Do try to get him to throw in a few color sessions with Stacey, or a head massage with Roxsand…
