Klaudia Giardina

They say nobody achieves anything alone. And while real estate is a business that relies on your own entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic to succeed, it’s not without an “It takes a village” mentality to make good real estate agents great. That’s because mentors — whether they’re actually called that or they are simply colleagues that share tips and wisdom along the way — help you grow, push, and achieve more. In her five years as a Realtor, Klaudia Giardina never had a full-fledged mentor to guide her career. When she left Monument Realty in Feb. 2022 to join Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate, she decided now was the time to benefit from the experience and wisdom of others.

Daltxrealestate: When did you begin selling real estate?

Klaudia Giardina: I received my real estate license in 2017 and that is when I started my journey in real estate.

CD: What was the market like then?

KG: The market back in 2017 until 2019 was stable and normal compared to what it is now. My clients could house-hunt at a much slower pace and take their time in finding the right home. Houses used to sit on the market for 30-60 days on the market, which gave buyers the ability to negotiate on price, repairs, etc. I remember sitting at open houses for two to three hours and only two families would come in. Now, there is a line of prospects out the door and parked cars that cause minor traffic jams in the neighborhoods.

CD: Do you have a mentor or someone in the real estate business that’s helped you, and what lessons have they taught you?

KG: Honestly, I’ve never had a mentor in real estate before. So when I made the decision to join Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate, I decided this was going to be a priority for me. I want a mentor that I know will be in my corner as I grow in my business. At RHA, they have a team with resources and tools that will help you be successful and become the best agent you can be in the Dallas Fort Worth area. RHA has exceeded all of my expectations from day one. Even Rogers himself along with his amazing team have been so supportive and encouraging. Rogers and his team are always checking in on me, asking how they can help, do I need anything, etc. They have been the missing piece in my real estate career!

CD: What part of town do you live in?

KG: I live on the West side of McKinney, bordering Frisco and Prosper.

CD: What’s the best part of living there, or the hidden gem that people overlook about your neighborhood?

KG: The best part of living here is that we are centrally located to all future and upcoming dining, shopping, and entertainment. I live minutes from the Gates of Prosper and they are expanding phase 2. Plus, McKinney has a future H-E-B coming, which I’m so excited about. I’m also a short distance to the new PGA of America, which will bring a lot of attraction to North Texas.

CD: What should newcomers to Dallas know about living here?

KG: Sometimes we have all four seasons in one week and sometimes, it feels like all in one day! LOL. But living in Dallas is the American “melting pot.” We have so much diversity here. There are so many restaurants that satisfy the taste of all the cultures around us, such as Mexican, Columbian, Ethiopian cuisine, Mediterranean, and so much more. And homeownership is still attainable in DFW, unlike other major cities in the US.

CD: How do other agents and your clients describe you?

Creative, compassionate, friendly, and outgoing.

Favorite…

Restaurant: I am a big foodie, so my husband and I try new restaurants in DFW every weekend. Here are just a few of my faves: Mesero’s, Toulouse Cafe & Bar, Mi Dia from scratch, Del Frisco’s, Perry’s, Heirloom Haul, and Urban Taco. I’m excited to try the five new restaurants coming to the STAR in Frisco — Lombardi Cucina Italiana, Howard Wangs, The Gen & Monarch Stag, SnowBird Cocktail Lounge & Kitchen, and Sidecar Social.

Happy hour spot: J.Theodore, Haywire, HG Supply Co, Royal 38, Union Bear, and The Common Table.

Secret shopping spot: My secret shopping spot is Heirloom Haul — It’s nestled inside Flea Style at the Star in Frisco, it has handmade, vintage, and one-of-a kind lifestyle goods that celebrate small businesses. They also have a dining hall that is farm-to-table and a private tea room. You can shop and dine all in one. I highly recommend making reservations 🙂

I’ve lived in Dallas so long that I remember when … the Dallas Cowboys stadium was located in Irving.
