Real estate veteran John Briggs joins Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate as Commercial Director as the company continues to quickly expand. Briggs brings 30 years of experience working in the commercial real estate sector, including time in his most recent position as Senior Vice President at the commercial real estate firm Cresa.
“There is nothing more fun than building something, and I am committed to continuing to build the commercial sector at Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate,” Briggs said. “Our team offers full-service real estate amenities, and the commercial sector is going to continue to enhance these services.”
Briggs and Rogers Healy, Owner and CEO of The Rogers Healy Companies, will be more than just business partners: They’ve been friends for over a decade.
“Briggs has been a dear friend of mine for a long time, and he has always been someone I’ve admired and looked up to,” Healy said. “Having him on our leadership team is going to help skyrocket the presence of our commercial sector, all while staying true to the way we’ve always done business. I am thrilled to watch the commercial division grow under Briggs’ leadership.”

Briggs said in addition to working with Healy, he is most excited for the opportunity to grow a relatively new section of the company’s offerings.
“Our goal is to continue to grow our team through our culture, marketing, training, and accessibility to leadership,” Briggs said. “We think the sky’s the limit and we can paint the city blue.”
From its beginnings, Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate has disrupted the Dallas real estate industry with its unique work culture and marketing techniques. Briggs said that he’s looking forward to bringing that same inimitable Rogers Healy style into the commercial space.
“We’re going to turn a traditional business untraditional,” Briggs said. “We’re going to hire people that aren’t traditionally commercial real estate brokers, but that are hungry to learn and grow and get involved with the real estate community.”
While Rogers Healy and Associates Real Estate has been running commercial ventures for about ten years, Briggs said the company’s focus has mostly been on the residential side of things up until now. Briggs’ hire comes at a time of continual expansion and success for the company. In the past ten months alone, The Rogers Healy Companies has tripled its leadership staff, bringing Mike Alexander to lead the entertainment division of Healy Global Relocation, Austin Uebele to lead recruiting, and Jerry Mooty as Director of Strategy.
