Update, 12:18 am: Seems I read the map incorrectly: this home is EAST of Preston Rd. when northbound, putting it between the Dallas North Tollway and Preston Road, a highly desireable area. Which only makes the Waggoner house on Waggoner even more desireable!
How appropriate that we post this apres Columbus Day, because the hefty front beams on this beautiful home remind me of a ship!

I have always wondered if the street got it’s name from The Waggoner Ranch.
The Waggoner Ranch was established in 1849 by Dan Waggoner, and this historic ranch property has been under the same family ownership ever since.
