A big backyard, hardwood floors, and gourmet kitchen combine for the perfect Midcentury Modern home in East Dallas.

Just in time to beat the summertime blues, this Silverock stunner rents for just $3,000 per month. It’s in the Dixon Branch neighborhood, near Garland Road, Northwest Highway, and White Rock Lake.

Featuring four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and more than 2,000 square feet of open space, this home is perfect for a family that loves to entertain.

“Floor-to-ceiling windows flood this open floor plan with natural light,” said Agent Grant Vancleve of Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty.

The home offers more than just a gourmet kitchen with an island, quartz countertops, and high-end appliances. It has a spa-like master suite with an updated bathroom and walk-through closet.

The sprawling backyard is inviting to anyone ready to see friends and relatives after a long spring of social distancing.

The nearby Dixon Branch Greenbelt offers 70 acres of gardens, nature observation areas, and walking/hiking/biking trails.

Zoned for Dallas ISD, the area is home to A-ranked Martha Turner Reilly Elementary School, C-ranked Robert T. Hill Middle School, and B-ranked Bryan Adams High School.

Town And Gown

A recent report issued by Apartmentlist.com revealed that Dallas is the No. 21 best metro for college graduates.

That conclusion was drawn by communities’ opportunities and resilience, according to the report.

“The coronavirus pandemic has fundamentally altered what constitutes a ‘best city’ for recent college graduates, so we’ve compiled the data that’s relevant in 2020 to learn which cities today’s grads should have on their radar,” authors Rob Warnock, Justin Chaplin, and Olyvia Ruhlmann wrote in the Apartment List article.

The top five metros for college grads include San Jose, Calif,; San Francisco; Washington, D.C., Boston, and Milwaukee.

Dallas beat out Chicago, Houston, and Nashville for its No. 21 spot on the list.

Grant Vancleve is leasing 10521 Silverock Drive, Dallas, brokered by: Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, for $3,000 per month.
