Without even trying, you can easily sabotage an entire day’s to-do list by sitting down with “a little” HGTV, whether broadcast, magazine or social media. So many gorgeous homes, so many exotic locations, so much inspiration to apply to your own humble existence. Rarely if ever do you have the chance to see any up close and personal, let alone consider them for purchase.
But with HGTV’s 2021 Ultimate House Hunt, the odds are more in your favor. Homes for sale from across the U.S. can be nominated, so there may be some opportunities in our area. And there actually are! This year, five homes in North Texas have been chosen as finalists. And all five are under the Ebby Halliday Companies umbrella. Coincidence? Hardly. It’s more like … Connections!
Not just any home can be considered for the annual competition. To add an element of exclusivity, HGTV partners with Luxury Portfolio International, and only member-company properties are eligible for consideration.
A little backstory might be helpful here. You see the Ebby Halliday Companies are a founding member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, a global network of 565 vetted firms with 130,000 sales associates able to share listings with prospects around the world. LPI is LeadingRE’s members-only luxury property marketing program. So only the best of the best make the cut (i.e., no chance that a ‘WTF Wednesday’ feature could accidentally be crowned winner).
