There are not enough exclamation points in the world for this home. Seriously, this is one of those listings where I am just gushing all over the place. I spotted it on a random Realtor’s Facebook page, and I knew that I had to feature this listing. At first glance, I was overwhelmed by the photos, which really pick out all of the fantastic details and upgrades that these sellers have put in. I was like this:

This is a unique Midway Hollow listing from Dave Perry-Miller agent Marlene Jaffe, and it is just a phenomenal example of how a 1951 ranch can be remodeled with taste and style. This home has “striking midcentury modern” details, Jaffe said, adding that there are a lot of “clean lines and top-quality finishes.”

Instead of tearing down 4135 Lively Lane, this beauty of a three-bedroom, two-bath midcentury ranch was expanded to an open and functional 1,972 square feet. The owners brought in designer tile and beautiful reclaimed hardwood floors, as well as an awesome wood-paneled accent wall, which add to the drama and appeal this home holds. The results? Stunning, and we’re sure you’ll agree. It’s been on the market for just two weeks at $529,900.

Things about this home that will absolutely tickle you include the beautiful midcentury-style wallpaper in the foyer, the slate blue kitchen cabinets, vaulted ceilings, and separate study just off the main living areas. The light fixtures, which keep with the midcentury modern style of the home, are fantastic. I love the atomic-era one above the dining table with its polished glass finish. There are other designer lighting upgrades throughout the home, too, and fantastic pops of orange and warm colors throughout.

The kitchen has stainless appliances, including a compact Wolf range. The eat-in breakfast bar is wonderful, and helps maintain the continuity throughout the kitchen/dining/living area. The counters are Caesarstone, which is growing in popularity for its durability and unique texture. The Ann Sacks designer tile, along with the semi-industrial hardware, pairs so well with the quirky cabinet color. I do love that, even with the dramatic pitch of the vaulted ceiling, there is no gap at the top of the custom cabinets. It gives the kitchen a truly tailored look!

The master suite is just perfect for someone who wants a cozy retreat, and the master bath is super cute, with custom tile on the floor and inside the shower. There are separate vanities, too, which is a wonderful added feature. You’ll also love the spacious laundry room, which has built-in cabinetry that will keep you organized and clutter free.

The clean lines are carried outside, with a great stone patio and large backyard, which is big enough for a pool if you’re so inclined. What do you think?
