Self-proclaimed “boss b*tch” Christine Quinn will chat with fans of the Netflix reality show Selling Sunset and sign copies of her book at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, at Barnes & Noble (1430 Plaza Place, Southlake).

The reality TV series Selling Sunset follows couture-clad Realtors as they sell multimillion-dollar homes and get into mostly unscripted catfights. Dallas native Quinn is known to bring the theater, as a host of memes highlight her signature lines such as “Now we can focus on me,” and “I never start the drama, I just finish it.” She offers burgers and botox at open houses and had a live zebra at her engagement party.

At the end of Season 5, Quinn left The Oppenheim Group, the West Hollywood brokerage firm highlighted on the show. She did not attend the Season 5 reunion show that aired May 6, citing a positive COVID-19 test. Quinn and her husband recently announced they’ve launched their own real estate firm, RealOpen, which allows anyone, anywhere, to buy or sell a home using cryptocurrency. Reports say despite Quinn’s separation from the other stars on “Selling Sunset,” she’ll be back for Season 6.

“How To Be A Boss B*tch: Stop Apologizing For Who You Are And Get The Life You Want” is described on Quinn’s website as “part prescriptive how-to, part manifesto, part tell-all.” The mother of one says she isn’t ashamed of the tenacity, confidence, and fearlessness that led her to be called a villain and “the most talked-about woman on TV.”

The book also teaches women to brand themselves with a signature style that reflects unique strengths, use an opponent’s poison as power, negotiate successfully, and deal with getting fired, according to Quinn’s press materials.

In an analysis conducted by Evoluted Marketing in 2020, Quinn’s listings featured on the first three seasons of the show totaled $37 million, for a commission total of about $1.1 million.

Tickets to the Southlake Barnes & Noble event are $27 and include a copy of the book to be signed.
