This one is, in fact, cute, but it’s already fixed up and billed as a turn-key investment property.

Listed by Juan Vega with Rendon Realty, the home at 9922 Hustead Drive is on the market for a modest $129,900.

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom abode is on a corner lot with a fantastic shade tree in the front yard. Such trees, according to the Texas A&M Forest Service, provide economic, social, and environmental benefits. The 3,883-square-foot lot also has a large, fenced backyard.

Although the home was built in 1982, it has several updates and was recently remodeled and painted. The stove, granite counter tops, and master bath are all updated. New ceiling fans cool all the rooms, and a new water heater ensures that occupants will have heat during those early-morning showers before school this fall. Kitchen cabinets are new. Residents of the Hustead house will be attending Dallas ISD schools including Edward Titche Elementary, Ann Richards Middle, and W.W. Samuell High School. The district received a B accountability rating from the Texas Education Agency for the second consecutive year.

Titche Elementary earned all distinction designations for which it is eligible and met TEA standards in all categories. Richards Middle met all TEA standards and earned distinctions in postsecondary readiness and comparative closing the gaps. Samuell High School met all standards but only picked up one distinction designation, in English language arts/reading.

The home’s new occupants will live in the Pleasant Grove area of Southeast Dallas, which is surrounded by eateries, grocery stores and entertainment venues. The area borders Mesquite on the north and East Oak Cliff on the west. Commuters have an easy trek to Interstates 635, 20, 30, and 45.
