When you call listing agent Kyle Byrom about 722 N. Hampton, the first thing you do is yap about how much you both love the area. He lived there for over 16 years, so he has a *slight* advantage but don’t kid yourself, we still know our stuff.

We talked about how West Kessler Heights is the perfect little pocket. It’s close to the Bishop Arts District and everything Oak Cliff has to offer, but it’s also like this perfectly secluded little hot spot.

And it backs to a golf course so there will basically never be a development of unsightliness behind you.

And yes, it’s on N. Hampton Road. Okay, a pretty busy road, but as Byrom points out, the way the houses are situated over there (they’re elevated way higher than the average house), it’s like you’re set among the trees, not the asphalt.

We both love the curb appeal of this home, too. The expanded driveway makes it easy to have guests over. The stone that’s oh-so-stately and those steps with the perfect curve up to the front door that’ are by no means original, but definitely fit right in.

You’ll find that’s the theme throughout this home. It’s been updated. We think. Byrom is pretty sure those bathrooms aren’t original, but when the owners and previous owners did any updating, they remained true to the architectural style of the home. And they skipped the Home Depot remodel we’ve all had enough of.

Flippers, hear our pleas.

If you’re about to redo a house, call a Realtor. A good one. They will tell you how to make your finish out phenomenal and that in turn will get your house sold faster and most likely for more money.

I mean, if you’re into that sort of thing, anyway.

Back inside, the color scheme is super fun. Especially when you consider the current owner is a male divorcee. Like huh? Good job, bud. I don’t know too many men that would commit to chartreuse in such a baller way.

The backyard is a really nice size, too, and it’s kind of wide open for the next owner’s interpretation. Add a garden, a yurt, or maybe a greenhouse that’s a smaller, corrugated plastic version of the original home. It’s really up to you. And with a $315,000 price tag, you definitely have some money to play with.
