Creek Living, But Fancy Because It’s Turtle Creek

When the answer to “where do you live” is “Turtle Creek” immediately a cloud of success surrounds you. It’s just one of THOSE addresses. It’s swank with an extra -ank. And the assumption is you dabble in gold doubloons.

But at 3225 Turtle Creek Boulevard, Unit 704, you don’t even have to. It’s listed at $359,900. It’s at Renaissance on Turtle Creek, a high-rise of substantial size — 22 stories — filled with condos starting at one bedroom and going up.

The building actually sits at the corner of Turtle Creek and Cedar Springs so basically everything is nearby — Turtle Creek greenbelt (obvs), West Village (BURGERS!), Uptown, McKinney Avenue (Trolleys!), Oak Lawn (trees and long, contemplative walks!).

Dallas Urban Home Real Estate’s Keith Head points out, Unit 704 is a “rarely available East Town two balcony corner unit with sweeping views of Turtle Creek Park, Uptown and portions of Downtown.” Dang. That’s three winners right there.

What else is inside this two-bedroom, two-bathroom, 1,126-square-foot condo? All the luxury starting with custom marble countertops in the kitchen, custom hardwoods in the kitchen and living room, and custom granite counters in the bathrooms. Plus custom cabinets, crown molding, and baseboards, and hardworking, light wearing sisal flooring in the bedrooms. Not to mention the primary bedroom has its own private balcony. Whew. That’s a lot and that’s just inside.

As far as building amenities go, The Renaissance is pretty loaded. We’re talking 24/7 concierge, valet, two assigned parking spots PLUS A BONUS, two pools, a sauna, a workout facility, and according to their website, “a welcoming spirit.” Ooh la la.

All that plus a location that’s steps away from dining, entertainment and “nightlife” which just sounds cheesy, doesn’t it? Like break out the sequin minis, we’re headed out for some NIGHTLIFE. Anyway, it’s there and it’s NOT cheesy and maybe even someday we’ll all get to dance way too close to strangers again.

Coincidentally, all the furnishings are for sale as well. If it were me, I’d call dibs on those silver sea urchins and call it a day.
