My, my … what would my grandparents think? They built their home in Tanglewood, the first development in Edwards Ranch, on Preston Hollow Road in 1960. The then-new addition was home to simple but attractive ranch-style houses and several daring modern designs. Those original ranch houses now sell for north of $600,000. In short, the area has continued to prosper. With its plentiful mature trees, winding streets that divert through traffic, and the allure of highly rated Tanglewood Elementary School, a Tanglewood listing — especially a revamped ranch is very desirable and, more often than not, short-lived.
