I do love that Sparkman Club Estates has become this wonderful nook of ranches that has wooed generations of Dallasites. And what’s not to love about this arboreal enclave in Northwest Dallas?

“I love the sense of community this little neighborhood offers to Dallas,” says Compass Dallas agent Anne Platt. “Sparkman Club Estates, one of Dallas’s hidden gems, offers a clubhouse and pool, which unites the community. They also know how to celebrate in style as a community, with their annual 4th of July parade, chili cook-off, and holiday parties.”

Of course, like anyone who is looking for a home in Dallas these days, competition is steep on a good day. But in a good community with beautiful-yet-accessible homes? Well, it’s impossible.

Moving Down The Street

That’s why we feel lucky that we caught window this Sparkman Club Estates listing from Platt on the day it hit MLS. Showings were yesterday, and we’re sure Platt is already sifting through offers and putting down a deadline. In a nutshell? If you haven’t submitted an offer on this week’s Friday Four Hundred, it’s might be too late.

In fact, the only reason someone would even consider selling a property as cute and move-in ready as this one would be if they had another house in the neighborhood.

Spoiler alert: They do.

“This neighborhood is so special to my clients, and my clients love it so much,” Platt said. It’s only natural that the only reason they’d be selling is that they are moving right down the street. Whoever buys this home will get some ready-made neighbors. It’s the equivalent of buying another unit in the same building but with a different view and an extra terrace.

Fresh, Bright, And Cozy

Remember how we said that this house is cute? It’s adorable. Platt’s clients are parting with one heck of a sweet home. There are three bedrooms, two baths, and an open floor plan. In all, the 1959-built one-story home has 1,883 square feet and a very sweet backyard.

There are updates all over the place, including some big ones in the kitchen. You get new cabinetry, Samsung appliances, and marble countertops. The guest bath has been remodeled, too.

“This home is especially attractive because it is move-in ready priced below $500,000,” Platt pointed out. “It is in close proximity to private schools, shopping, and dining.”

And it’s in one of the best neighborhoods in Dallas — Sparkman Club Estates.
