Actor Dylan Summerall Tabs Rogers Healy for Next Role

Dallas-based actor Dylan Summerall has decided to begin his real estate career with Rogers Healy and Associates. He passed his real estate exam earlier this month and committed to them the following day.

“Summerall’s background in successfully navigating Los Angeles is going to provide the perfect approach to helping our team grow in the field of celebrity real estate,” Owner and CEO Rogers Healy said. “Dylan has taken a different approach to real estate, and I know he is going to provide a fun dynamic to the world of real estate.”

According to Summerall, real estate has been on his radar since he was in middle school. His father was a custom home builder and other members of his family were involved in various aspects of the industry.

“I think it’s one of those things that is just in my blood,” he says. “I used to say, ‘I want to do that too one day.’”

When he was a teenager, Summerall moved to Los Angeles to focus more on his acting career. Among his credits were roles in the TV shows Black-ish and American Housewife as well as the film Saturday at the Starlight. He says that the two shows were especially fun experiences due to their amazing casts and crew. However, one of his favorite projects was the Lifetime Channel movie Fame at a Deadly Cost.

“Lifetime is on TV all the time — it’s like everyone sees Lifetime,” he said. “I guess it was kind of a bucket list thing to do a Lifetime movie.”

While acting remains a passion and something he will dabble in from time to time, Summerall says he’s excited about jumping into a new career. He believes that working in and being around a creative industry will serve him well as a real estate agent.

Summerall also boasts a sizable social media presence, which he plans to use to spread his message and grow the business. He intends to approach his new job “like any good person should” by being personable and genuine. That means starting by meeting people and figuring out just what he can do for them.

“I got into the industry because I wanted to help everyone. I don’t want to be closed to any certain type of home,” he says. “I’m ready to work so if you need help let me know.”
