Family-friendly, peaceful, safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. These are a few of the superlatives about Emerson Estates that neighbors mention. Emerson Estates is just one of those places people want to live, and this one-story home is a rarity.

Rare One Story Living in Emerson Estates

Don’t be fooled by the exterior of this house and start wondering where the staircase is because it is indeed all on one level. It has very high ceilings, allowing light to wash over the inside from that second tier of windows. It’s really genius to have created the look of a two-story with the ease and efficiency of a one-story residence.

“It’s hard to find a 3,786-square-foot, single-story home with four ensuite bedrooms,” RE/MAX DFW Associates listing agent Dr. Denni Kay Scates, PhD. said.” There were only five for sale last year. It has an excellent layout for multi-generational living because the house’s core is open, but everyone has their own private space.”

When the family wants to gather, they can do so in the tremendous open-plan living area and the game and media rooms. A study provides privacy for those zoom meetings and plenty of built-ins.

This Emerson Estates family home is not only attractive, but CalAtlantic also constructed it with green in mind, and that includes tankless water heaters!

Frisco is Hot, Hot, Hot

It seems like it happened in the blink of an eye. One moment Frisco was just another suburb. Then the Dallas North Tollway was extended in 1994 to State Highway 121 and eventually to Highway 380 in 2007. With Stonebriar Mall’s opening in 2000, it was as if the flag had dropped on the Grand Prix. Businesses, homebuyers, and all the amenities supporting both could not get here fast enough. By 2003 the Frisco Roughriders minor league baseball team was formed, and two years later, the FC Dallas major league soccer team kicked off. And, of course, the ultimate magnet, Ikea, opened its first location in Texas. As if it could not get better, in 2016, the 91-acre Star became the home of the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters.

Today the luxury retailer Frontgate has deemed Frisco the perfect spot for a second store in Dallas. The PGA chose to locate its headquarters here. The Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park are across the highway for the kids and Universal Studios is opening a family-themed park to rival anything Disney offers. Frisco is, without any doubt, the place to be.

Dr. Denni has this Emerson Estates family home at 12883 Possum Kingdom Dr. listed for $1.099 million.
