Peyton Manning vs. Marshawn Lynch: Wine RoomEarl Thomas vs. Joel Dreessen: Billiards RoomBritton Colquitt vs. Walter Thurmond: Gourmet KitchenZach Miller vs. Von Miller: Family Room

The Cowboys aren’t playing, but the whole world will be watching the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks face-off for Super Bowl XLVIII in freezing New Jersey in a bit.

I turn to my colleague Neil Leitereg for a look at some Super Bowl homes. Contrast and compare the wine rooms of the teams’ top stars, Denver’s Peyton Manning and Seattle’s Marshawn Lynch. Maybe one of these days we’ll get to see what Tony Romo is building up there in Glen Abbey. I am totally certain the wine cellar room in his 32,000 square foot home will put these to shame. Hence, based on pure Wine Room Size, mark my word: The Cowboys will be in Super Bowl XLIX or L, soon as Tony gets that house finished.

Peyton Manning vs. Marshawn Lynch: Wine Room

Popping the cork on our Super Bowl showdown is a wine room comparison of two of the game’s biggest stars: Denver’s Peyton Manning and Seattle’s Marshawn Lynch. Manning’s wood-lined wine cellar is one of many luxuries found inside his 16,600-square-foot mansion outside of Denver; while it’s safe to say that the personal chiller in Lynch’s waterfront mansion is about as cool as they come.

Earl Thomas vs. Joel Dreessen: Billiards Room

Chances are good that the Seahawks safety Earl Thomas and Broncos tight end Joel Dreessen will collide at some point on Sunday. But before they take the field, we have them facing off in a battle of premium billiards rooms. Dreessen presents a strong case inside his $925,000 home in Parker, CO, with a well-lit pool table area. Thomas, inside his $925,000 home in Renton, WA, counters with a game room complete with a wet bar and roaring fireplace.

Britton Colquitt vs. Walter Thurmond: Gourmet Kitchen

Cooking up something fierce inside his new $1.75 million home in Castle Rock, CO, is Broncos punter Britton Colquitt, whose country kitchen looks primed for special teams’ gatherings. On the other end of the spectrum, Seahawks cornerback Walter Thurmond is ready to put on a gourmet spread with stainless steel finishes found inside his Maple Valley, WA, home.

Zach Miller vs. Von Miller: Family Room

Things look downright cozy in the family room of Seattle tight end Zach Miller, who paid $2.15 million for his Bellevue, WA, property in 2011. Denver linebacker Von Miller, who will have to sit out Sunday’s game due to injury, delivers a luxury sack with a vaulted great room inside his $949,000 home in Foxfield, CO.
