Colleyville Police confirm the nearly nine-hour hostage standoff has concluded: “Update at 9:55pm: The SWAT situation in Colleyville is resolved and all hostages are safe. We continue to work in partnership with the FBI to finalize all details.”

From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and Facebook posts:

“Colleyville police are conducting SWAT operations around the 6100 block of Pleasant Run Road this afternoon,” police said on social media.

All residents in the immediate area are being evacuated, and people are asked to avoid the area.

Congregation Beth Israel synagogue is located at 6100 Pleasant Run Road in Colleyville.

Commenters on a Facebook live stream of a service at the synagogue say a man there is holding people hostage. An angry man can be heard speaking on the ongoing live stream.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., Governor Greg Abbott tweeted all hostages had been released following a loud bang and shots fired, heard by Dallas media on site. Three hours before, Colleyville Police reported one hostage was released uninjured.

Prayers answered.

All hostages are out alive and safe.

#Breaking #ColleyvilleSynagogue sources confirm to me it was the elite FBI hostage rescue team which flew into DFW this evening, who executed the explosion and temple entry. All hostages are ok, and have spoken to officers. Fate of the hostage taker not yet clear. @CBSDFW
