Jenna-Ryan-News-Update

In the three weeks since Daltxrealestate.com first spoke to local Realtor Jenna Ryan in the immediate aftermath of the Capitol riot, she’s become one of the most recognizable faces of the insurrection.

Ryan’s arrest on federal trespassing charges garnered international attention. Comedians Stephen Colbert and Trevor Noah, among others, have included bits about her in their monologs (go to about the 7:50 mark here). Even the Washington Post ran a satirical piece on how she seemed to use the event to promote her personal brand.

And according to new reports, Ryan’s charges have multiplied. Not only with the Frisco broker face charges on entering a restricted building and disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building, but she is also being charged with violent and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building and parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building.

No Cash, No Hat, No Pardon

After her Jan. 15 arrest, Ryan took to Twitter to say that the FBI took her computers and her phone. She claimed they even took her MAGA hat.

To add insult to injury, former President Donald Trump did not include her in the 73 last-minute pardons he issued on his final day in office despite her very public pleas.

“Me personally, I do not feel a sense of shame or guilt from my heart from what I was doing” she said during a local news interview. “I thought I was following my president. I would like a pardon from the President.”

Perhaps the reason that embattled former President Donald Trump didn’t award Ryan a pardon is that he didn’t want to encourage a future political competitor, as Ryan has said she is done with the Republican Party and has mused about seeking political office herself one day under the banner of the “Patriot Party.”

Last week Ryan, took to social media seeking money for her defense. It didn’t take long for both PayPal and Fundly to shut down her accounts for violating their policies.

Unfazed by the action, Ryan responded on Twitter that she didn’t actually need the money.  Instead, she claimed that the fundraising efforts were of a way of “giving people the opportunity to contribute and be blessed by their giving.”  According to her, those who donate to her are going to be “blessed beyond measure.”

Despite this onslaught of overwhelmingly negative publicity, Ryan tells us that things are actually going well. She says she has a new book deal, a strong support system of good friends, and an “incredible attorney” named Brady Wyatt.  According to her, the real estate business is thriving, and strangers are coming out of the woodwork hoping to use her as their agent.

“Overall this is challenging,” Ryan said. “However, ultimately it will boost my business success in all areas.  People who support conservative values appreciate my activism.”

Sparkling Outrage

Of course, the outcome of the fair and lawful presidential election has not been the only target of Ryan’s ire.  On Saturday, she called out Dee Lincoln’s Steakhouse for bringing her $400 champagne when she’d only ordered the $100 bottle.

No word yet if additional blessings were available for anyone willing to pick up the difference.
