Olerio Homes has built its style on single-family homes with exteriors and interiors with clean aesthetic lines. Now, the homebuilder will build 64 single-family attached duplex units near Love Field (Olerio Homes)

Lou Olerio, who has been a real-estate developer for nearly 20 years, has a certain style when it comes to the homes he builds. He likes timeless exteriors and transitional interiors with clean aesthetic lines.

Now, Olerio hopes to bring that style to his new project.

Last month, he purchased an entire block of houses in the 4500 block of March Avenue near Love Field in northwest Dallas with plans to build a new neighborhood of luxury residences.

Dallas-based Olerio Homes has developed properties in the Bird Streets, Devonshire, Lovers Lane Heights, Midway Hollow, Preston Hollow, and Bishop Arts. He has built nearly 300 homes in Dallas, including the newly developed Modella Park neighborhood south of Webb Chapel and Forest Lane.

The March Avenue street is lined with duplexes built in the late 1940s. The street is between Bristol Avenue behind Sewell Cadillac and Roper Street to the east. The 32 duplexes on the street will be razed and rebuilt with 64 single-family attached units for sale in the mid-$600,000s per side.

“We’ll totally regentrify that area,” Olerio said.
