But Keller, the neighboring ‘burb, has long been considered a great alternative — close to all the Southlake amenities (plus a few great ones of its own), great schools, and friendlier house prices.

Keller ISD got an A grade from the Texas Education Agency’s A-F accountability scoring, too. 

This week’s Weekend One Hundred is an example of what you can get for less than $200,000 in Keller — and it’s actually quite a bit. Located in Keller’s West Bursey Ranch neighborhood, the three-bedroom, two-bath house sits in a cul-de-sac.

The kitchen may be a smidge smaller, but the fact that it’s open to the main living area makes it feel more substantial.

All three bedrooms are carpeted, and the secondary bedrooms are split from the master suite, which boasts granite counters and a separate shower.
