We’re in Love With The Kessler Park Tudor That Robert Kucharski Just Listed

Kessler Park Tudor

There has been no other time in my life that I wished so hard that I was in the market for a home than right now. I’m one of those people who has way too much equity and a crazy low rate that buying a home right now would not be the best idea, but this Kessler Park Tudor just listed by David Griffin & Co. Realtors’ Robert Kucharski has me very, very tempted.

While I appreciate the sage staging advice from so many experts, the way this home has been personalized and how incredibly charming it is — just sends it for me. That’s just one small reason why Kucharski’s listing is our Highlight Home of The Week sponsored by Dallas mortgage banker Lisa Peters of Cardinal Financial.

“It’s a very unique property and it’s so customized but done so well,” Kucharski told daltxrealestate.com. “You know, I’ve been doing this for 33 years and, of course, I used to redo homes. But this home, the quality of the workmanship on any particular point is just it’s just incredible.”

It’s true that the seller — an orthodontist who loves knitting, playing the piano, and dogs — used only the best materials when updating and renovating their home. Truly, they would likely never consider selling except for a really good reason — being closer to their family.

The home was taken down to studs and redone in 2012, Kucharski said. At that time, a large addition was put on to the home, doubling the home’s footprint. The Tudor-style red brick home in Kessler Park now totals 4,128 square feet with three bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and a freshly turfed backyard.

“Just look at the tile work, the marble, the cabinetry — the design is just incredible as well,” Kucharski added.

Inside you’ll find comfortable transitional living spaces with fun fixtures and plenty of color. There are formals and inviting family spaces that are a dream for entertaining. You’ll love the playful kitchen, and you’ll want the number for the tile installer who did that immaculate mosaic without a single seam standing out.

“I think the flow of the house is incredible,” Kucharski said. “The rooms are very large.”

The primary bedroom is downstairs, complete with an en suite bath that has the most captivating stained-glass window. Plus, who doesn’t love a huge soaking tub?

“And then upstairs is an additional bedroom and what is an arts and crafts room or a family room, but could also be converted to an additional bedroom,” Kucharski said.

I vote for leaving it a craft room because that yarn storage is absolutely perfect. It’s immaculate. Knitters and fiber artists will appreciate the bright and open workspace with a large work table and plenty of storage. All it’s missing is my current knitting project — a shawl — and myself in that adorable window seat.

Additionally, the backyard of the property was recently professionally landscaped and now includes a turfed area that is perfect for pet owners who are tired of wiping paws when it’s raining.

Kucharski has the adorable Kessler Park Tudor at 1202 N. Clinton listed for $1.85 million.
