From staff reports

If you want to sell your house in less than a week, you might want to live in the zip codes for Euless, Lancaster, Irving, or Balch Springs, new data from iBuying start-up OpenDoor revealed.

The hottest zip codes were gleaned from data from the first three months of 2019 and have given the real estate company a good indication of the areas they think will be most attractive to buyers this summer.

Homes are selling in less than a week in the 76040, 75134, 75061, and 75180 zips, Opendoor found, but buyer interest is geographically spread across North Texas, with five of the top 10 zip codes being west of DFW, and five east.

Watauga continues to be hot (as we’ve mentioned before), with a lot of buyer activity in that 76137 zip code. All told, there were 10 zip codes that generated the most buyer interest and activity, including:

  1. 76137
  2. 75052
  3. 75068
  4. 76244
  5. 76179
  6. 76227
  7. 75070
  8. 75007
  9. 76123
  10. 76133

How accurate is that data? Since prospective buyers use the Opendoor app to unlock the front door of any home they visit, pretty darn accurate, the company said. That data helps them track the volume of visits in particular zip codes.
