Ready to spruce up your décor in 2024? Look no further than the latest batch of designer collaborations. From Pantone’s myriad partnerships touting its 2024 Color of the Year to interior designer Colin King’s timeless bedding collection for Cultiver, here’s seven buzzworthy debuts you’ll want on your radar.

Pantone Color Institute

Drum roll, please. This year’s nod for Color of the Year goes to Peach Fuzz, a “velvety gentle peach tone whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body, and soul,” according to color specialist and Pantone Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman. “In seeking a hue that echoes our innate yearning for closeness and connection, we chose a color radiant with warmth and modern elegance.”

We asked local artist Natalie Westbrook to weigh in. “The color peach — often associated with emotions such as warmth, friendliness, and optimism — is a great choice. Given the current state of the world, adding a touch of lightness and hope is refreshing and uplifting.”

“In my recent artwork titled “LuLu,” I incorporated a captivating peach color that infuses the piece with a profound sense of happiness,” said Westbrook (above).
The piece recently sold through Markowicz Fine Art to Anthony Tarter of Dallas.

Before turning to art full-time, Westbrook’s CV includes stints in fashion, design, and real estate. All impact her dynamic, vibrantly hued style.

“Understanding the psychology of color can be beneficial in various settings, such as interior design, branding, and marketing, as it allows us to create environments that evoke the desired emotional responses,” she added.

Read on for some stylish new collaborations including a pair of Pantone-inspired partnerships.

Ruggable

(Ruggable)

The Ruggable x Pantone Collection features five unique styles designed to inspire well-being and add a fresh pop of color to your décor. Ruggable, of course, is the female-founded, direct-to-consumer washable rug brand taking over your Instagram feed. The removable rug cover is machine-washable, water-resistant, and stain-resistant, and attaches to a nonslip Ruggable rug pad. For this collaboration, choose rugs, doormats, and our favorite, a cheeky “Nice Peach” bathmat.

Spoonflower

Your home is about to get a whole lot peachier thanks to this online destination for print-on-demand wallpaper, home décor, and fabric. A colossal array of merch includes everything from duvet covers and throw pillows to table runners and cocktail napkins. And thanks to local designers, you can find all kinds of Dallas-centric wallpaper and fabric there, too.

(Spoonflower)

The Pantone collection sports original designs by artists Dani Dazey, Janine Lecour, and Holli Zollinger. “Our relationship allows for exclusive collaborations with artists across the globe and delivers Pantone’s Color of the Year to consumers in a personalized, on-demand way,” said Spoonflower Senior Director of Brand Marketing Sarah Ward.

Cultiver & Collin King Studio

(Cultiver)

This capsule collection embodies renowned designer Colin King’s modern yet timeless aesthetic. Standout pieces include reversible twill weave throws and heavyweight bedcovers designed to pool on the floor.

Marked x Voutsa

Inspired by handcrafted American quilts, Mark Cunningham — the designer behind interiors firm and furniture line Marked — created this exceptional lineup of prints for textile studio Voutsa.

“The result is a broad but succinct collection of hand-printed patterns which present sophisticated color combinations and an elegant approach to minimalism with our signature dash of fun,” according to founder and creative director George Venson.

Britto Charette x Kyle Bunting

(Kyle Bunting)

Go bold or go home — or both. Design firm Britto Charette tapped Austin-based rugmaker Kyle Bunting for this statement-making collection of customizable rug styles. Meticulously constructed by hand using hair-on-hide from Italian and French tanneries, each is a work of art guaranteed to elevate any space.

Target

Check out two new collabs that dropped Dec. 26.

Threshold with Studio McGee

(Target)

Design aficionados on a budget will love designer Shea McGee’s new, cottage-inspired spring collection. Top picks include green velvet throw pillows, two-toned baskets, and a curvy, gold metallic ruffle bowl.

Hearth & Hand

(Target)

Spring comes early with new offerings from Joanna Gaines’ popular Magnolia brand. Among the highlights: chunky hand-knit throws, a multi-wick candle, and brown-toned glassware.
