Dallas real estate agent Ben Caballero announced that he plans to formally apply for another Guinness World Record certificate after setting a record for home sales in 2020.

Caballero is the founder and CEO of Addison-based HomesUSA.com and a new home sales agent who works with 60-plus builders in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio markets.

He earned Guinness world records in 2018 and 2016 for most annual home sales transactions through MLS by an individual sell-side real estate agent.

In 2020, Caballero sold 6,438 homes worth more than $2.46 billion. According to Guinness, Caballero sold 5,801 homes in 2018 and 3,556 in 2016. He’s a consistent high performer in Real TRENDS + Tom Ferry, a residential brokerage industry publication. The Business Insider even took a look at a day in the life of Ben Caballero in 2019.

According to a news release, the verified data for his sales came from the North Texas Real Estate Information Systems, Houston Association of REALTORS, San Antonio Board of REALTORS, and the Austin Board of REALTORS Multiple Listing Services.

“As a Texan, I am proud to live and work in the world’s greatest and most resilient housing market and home to one of the strongest economies in the world,” Caballero said in the news release. “Looking at the market today, this record is going to stand for some time. What’s most incredible is I get to do something I love every day and get paid for it. I built homes for 18 years and truly enjoy working with builders.”

Caballero has compiled his sales accomplishments at HomesUSA.com.
