This M Streets Tudor Was Updated by Renovation Sells, and It’s Everything

Get ready for an action-packed adventure of a real estate write up. Wherever do I start? At the beginning. This house is so freaking cute and charming and classy and tasteful and perfectly, perfectly updated. Put a pin in that. We’ll circle back.

It’s in the M Streets. It’s charming as heck. It’s a storybook Tudor and that description is so fitting. Anyone remember David Winter Cottages? This would be an all-time collectible. The stone, the dual color trim, the stained glass windows and perfectly-framed covered front porch and soft-peaked doorway. So dang lovely.

Inside the living room is flooded with light, bright and airy. The perfect contrast to the fieldstone fireplace. It’s tip-top notch from the get-go and then they went and painted the trim the same color as the walls!!!!!! Like swoon city. What a detail.

In the kitchen the slide-in gas range is tucked in a tiled alcove with the same soft-peaked opening as the front. MORE DETAILS!!

It’s almost as if a professional designer came in and gave this one a little nudge to take it from market-ready to market-extra-ready. The owner works in a creative field so I’m guess it was pretty freaking spectacular to start with. But then when she teamed up with Sarah Drawart at Renovation Sells, it just got that much more spectacular.

Original hardwoods throughout, the perfect white on the walls, and Jonathan Adler light fixtures everywhere.

The primary bedroom is very generous and there’s a third bedroom attached. As the description says it’s the perfect home office, nursery or pop a Peloton in there and get after it. A very well-appointed ensuite bathroom with basketweave tile on the floor. It’s just a class act all around. The backyard is professionally landscaped and the patio covered in an open slate pergola.

Now let’s talk about Renovation Sells. It’s a national company that works exclusively with sellers in order to get their homes market ready. And they offer financing. One of the perks of working with Renovation Sells is they are super dialed into current trends and what buyers are looking for, and offer some stats that you can’t sneeze at. We’re talking three weeks and $27,000 for the average product and they claim an ROI of 300 percent. I’d take those odds.

Of course, I truly believe this one was pretty delightful even in the “Befores.” If you’d like to see this showstopper in person, Compass’ Amy Sack will be holding it open today, April 15, from 1 to 3 p.m. Sacks has 5526 Merrimac Avenue listed for $799,000.
