Aren’t you glad we live in Texas? Too many restrictions to even keep straight with COVID-19 and holiday gatherings in other states. (Yeah, I’m talking about you California.)

Paper plates. Limited people in attendance. Open-air dining. Plastic utensils. Eat Thanksgiving dinner quickly. Don’t linger around and enjoy one another’s company. Don’t serve from the same dish. The list goes on and on …

I’m sure they mean well … but God Bless Texas!

While we shouldn’t be cavalier or aloof regarding health-and-safety, it’s nice to at least have options and freedoms when it comes to holiday festivities. Nonetheless, I found the perfect home in the Stadium Parkway Addition of Fort Worth to celebrate holidays regardless of any restrictions or suggestions.

Holiday Gatherings – Inside or Outside

The home at 2518 Stadium Drive is a four-bedroom home with three-and-one-half bathrooms and 3,644 square feet built in 2009 that will satisfy your holiday and your everyday needs.

Upon entry of the home, you will notice the open family and kitchen area with a large gliding door that leads to a fantastic covered patio. Talk about open-air opportunities … the patio is spacious and not only has room for eating but for gathering as well. Safely gathering.

After Thanksgiving Dinner

Hopefully everyone will have successful holiday dinner and will want to continue to be around friends and family … but from a distance of course.

The large patio not only has an eating area – but a football watching area too

If there are any games worth watching, simply move from the eating area of the patio to the sofas. If there is a chill in the air take advantage of the wood burning fireplace to get cozy.

Enjoy swinging, chipping and ,putting in the backyard

If you need to get some exercise, head to the backyard with your wedge and putter and work on your short game.

Of course, once all your family and guests have departed and the dishes have been cleaned (or thrown away because we are told to use paper plates), take time for yourself in the luxury spa-like master bathroom. There’s nothing better than a relaxing soak in the garden tub to end the day.
