Skip Apartment Living In Flower Mound And Opt For A 4-Bedroom Home

Apartments cost more to rent in Flower Mound than any other city in Texas. Oddly enough, though, the rental price for a spacious four-bedroom home isn’t much higher than what you’d drop on a much smaller apartment.

RentCafe reported last month that Flower Mound has the highest rent rate in the state, a stat that also was shared by the Texas A&M Real Estate Center. A 930-square-foot apartment in Flower Mound rents $1,610 on average.

Compare that to a four-bedroom, 2,534-square-foot home in the same general area for $2,195 a month. The price difference isn’t excessive and you get so much more for your buck at 2709 Silver Maple Court.

While the high rent in Flower Mound is a little disconcerting, let’s embrace  the potential here. If you’re already tied to Flower Mound through work or Denton County’s B-ranked Lewisville ISD,  it’s key to find a dwelling in those city limits. Why overpay for a cramped apartment?

The four-bedroom, two-and-one-half-bathroom abode on Silver Maple isn’t a Highland Park penthouse, but it’s a great value for a 2,534 square foot home. Think of the money you’ll save, especially if you have the luxury of a two-income household or a roommate.

Built in 1994, the home has charm and character. The two-story abode gives away no hints that it’s affordable (as if that’s a bad thing). There’s a fireplace, updated appliances, spacious rooms, and a backyard for pets.

City Life

So what’s Flower Mound all about, anyway?

Once a small suburb, unprecedented growth and development arrived in the 1990s around the Lakeside Business District on the north shore at Lake Grapevine, and the Denton Creek District near the I-35 West corridor.

Providing quick and convenient access to the cities of Dallas and Fort Worth, DFW International Airport and numerous opportunities, the town of Flower Mound proudly touts itself as the best place in North Texas to live, work, and play.

American Homes 4 Rent Leasing is leasing 2709 Silver Maple Court, Flower Mound, for $2,195 per month.
