1715-Pratt-a

Sitting on 0.35 acres in Wynnewood North, one North Oak Cliff house is turning heads with its big renovations, cute curb appeal, and contemporary aesthetic.

Our Thursday Three Hundred at 1715 Pratt St. is minutes from Bishop Arts, Downtown, Kiestwood Trails, and Trinity Groves. It is a great find with three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, one half bath, two living areas, and 2,050 square feet on one story, built in 1962.

1715-Pratt-a

Developed by Six Flags creator and Dallas oilman Angus Wynne, 820-acre Wynnewood North saw its birth in the late 1950s. As Heritage Oak Cliff writes:

The area north of the [Wynnewood Village shopping center] was developed as Wynnewood North in the 1950s. One look at the homes makes it clear that this neighborhood catered to middle and upper income clients. The lots are generous and laden with massive oak trees. Sprawling ranch-style custom homes of traditional, western and contemporary design, with the occasional two-story Colonial, wind around the hilly terrain. Quality construction, large formal rooms, plaster moldings, spacious kitchens, and bright tile baths are found in Wynnewood North.

This is a friendly neighborhood of around homes on a hilly, scenic location with lots of get-togethers and a friendly vibe.

This house is updated completely with a contemporary twist, now with an open floorplan and lots of custom touches. A sleek front door opens to a huge room with the dining room, living room, and eat-in kitchen. A fireplace with oversized painted fireplace anchors the living room and hardwood floors run throughout.

The eat-in kitchen delights with exotic granite countertops, a breakfast bar, built-ins, white Shaker-style cabinets, and stainless steel appliances, including a gas range.

Off the kitchen through a sliding barn door, a second living area offers a built-in bench and half bathroom, as well as new carpeting.

The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom through sliding barn doors with custom Closets with built-in drawers, dual sinks, granite countertops, a jetted tub, and walk-in shower with dual shower heads. The other bedrooms are freshly painted with new carpeting, as well.

In back, the yard has a privacy fence, mature trees, and a patio.

This Wynnewood North home was listed July 27 by Bianey Lachica Gastelum with RW Properties for $375,000.
