Realtors spend an inordinate amount of time driving around in their cars to meet with buyers, sellers, title companies, photographers, and stagers. Now they have a precious commodity: Time. So this is a great opportunity to get in front of your computers and dig into online classes for your continuing education credits.
The best news out of TREC and TALCB is that an extension has been granted until May 31 for anyone with a license expiration date of March 31 or April 30.

TREC also announced today that temporary alternatives to in-person proctored exams are now in place for anyone who was taking a classroom course that has transitioned to a live, online course format.

The MetroTex Association of Realtors starts online courses on March 31st.
“We will be doing live broadcast classes using ZOOM. They will be CE credit online courses and they are currently open for registration,” said Director of Professional Development, Roxie Glenn. “The MetroTex staff began working from home on March 23 and we are all answering our work extensions, answering emails, and we have access to the membership system.”
Sales Leader of the Ebby Preston Center Office, Ginger Gill is excited about their online courses.
“We changed Ebby School to The Edge and edited it down from two weeks to one. We also spent last year writing a course called Fast Track for new agents. It was implemented on February 1,” Gill said. “Fast Track has different courses. You can see a module on open houses, or your first buyer. It’s good timing for us that we were ahead of the curve with online courses and we are getting a great response to them. We are working overtime to help our agents work in a new online atmosphere. We had our first Google Hangout with 73 agents this week and it went much longer than our in-person meetings. It was like a town hall. This may change the way we do business in the future!”
