MetroTex announced its proposed slate of 2020 officers and 2020-2021 directors after receiving applications from general membership, which were then reviewed by a nominating committee.
Nominated were: President: Terry Tremaine, Century 21 Mike Bowman; President-Elect: Bill Jordan, Longhorn Real Estate; Secretary/Treasurer: Taylor Walcik, Blair Group Real Estate; Past President: Cathy Williams, Keller Williams.
Directors – Two year term – 2020-2021: Sid Thom, Re/Max Premier; Adrianne Price, Bravo Texas Realty; Ashley Gentry, RedBranch Realty; Ed Eakin, Eakin Group; Jeff Varnell, Jeff Varnell, REALTORS; Nancy Garcia, Halo Group Realty; Richard Fricks, Realty Firm Global; and Brenda Thompson, United Real Estate.
The members of the 2019 nominating MetroTex committee were; Chairperson, Linda Callicutt, Terry Tremaine, Belinda Epps, Lori Solecki, Liz Rourke, Dave Bowman, Jennifer Clark, Patrick Burke, and Carrie Hill.
Mitch Robinson was promoted to the newly created position of chief marketing officer for eXp World Holdings, the company announced last week. EXp World Holdings is the parent company of eXp Realty.
Previously, Robinson was the senior vice president of marketing and communications at eXp Realty.
The company says that he will continue to advise eXp Realty marketing efforts, but will also focus on other initiatives of eXp World Holdings as well, including VirBELA, the company’s virtual environment for communication and collaboration between agents.
“I love being part of a smart team that works to improve the experience for our agents every minute of the day,” Robinson said in the company’s press release. “That mission never ends, but, as we grow, the opportunity to be part of other current and future efforts is exciting.”

Before joining eXp Realty, Robinson was an early employee of Expedia before joining Zillow. He joined eXp’s leadership team in 2017.
