Allie Beth Allman & Associates sells the most homes in Dallas listed over $1 million.

Allie Beth Allman & Associates has never started a year quite like this. The firm recently reported its best first quarter numbers ever. The team closed 726 transactions, 48 percent more than last year. They also doubled their sales volume.

“What was done this quarter is nothing short of amazing,” President of Sales Keith Conlon said. “Our agents are connecting the dots for so many buyers. Their work ethic, ability to win the deal and tenacity is what makes our company and our numbers undeniably the best ever.”

It’s hard to fathom because the firm’s previous best first quarter was just last year. The beginning of the year is traditionally considered a slow season, but seasonal norms appear to be changing. Over the first three months of 2021, a whopping 232 Allman agents sold at least one home, and 147 of them reported over $1 million in volume.

“To achieve these incredible numbers, it takes an incredible team of experts, added CEO and founder Allie Beth Allman. “Our agents go above and beyond searching, serving and selling for our clients. Once again our team proves they get the job done no matter the market.”

The brokerage’s average sales price during that span was more than $1.1 million. In February, Allman agent Alex Perry brokered one of the biggest home deals in Dallas real estate history. He represented the owners of a 1920s Volk Estates mansion that was listed for over $21 million. It was the largest deal in the city since 2018, according to MLS.

Unprecedented sales volume presents a whole new set of challenges. Simply put, there’s no denying that it’s a seller’s market. From Dallas to Southlake in Tarrant County, the story remains the same. As housing inventory shrinks, home prices continue to rise. People are now willing to go well over the list price to land a home. Some are even willing to go under contract with no contingencies or inspections.

This is seemingly great news for sellers until they face the daunting challenge of finding a new place to live. The situation might seem frustrating, but it’s not hopeless. Allman agents have cultivated networks that help them find available homes before or off-market and match buyers and sellers. They are also working closely with sellers to find new housing options that make sense in these unique times.

All indications are that the Dallas market will continue to thrive for the foreseeable future. April is already shaping up to be another impressive month. Driving forces like plentiful jobs, people moving to Dallas from across the country, and low interest rates are expected to continue.

Both Allie Beth Allman and  Keith Conlon are truly grateful to live in Dallas and the firm’s loyal client base. There are ample opportunities to take advantage of these conditions, but it usually requires experts to capitalize on them.
