The weather is supposed to warm up a bit for this weekend’s Lakewood Home Festival, so don’t forget to buy your tickets to the home tour if you didn’t win a pair from us! Besides gorgeous homes, including Debbie Wiggins’ incredible Charles Dilbeck at 6820 Avalon, you can also check out an adorable, quirky Kids Crooked House from Lakewood’s own Heather Guild at the auction party Friday night.
The house will be up for auction at tomorrow’s “Pearls and Prohibition” auction party sponsored by Dave Perry-Miller and Associates and benefitting the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA. If you don’t have your tickets yet for the party, which is set for 7 p.m. at the Belo Mansion, you better hurry because they usually sell out. The playhouse, which is hand crafted and, will definitely be a hot-ticket item. I’m sure there are lots of boys and girls in Lakewood who would love to have their own little slice of real estate, especially one as cute as this little cottage!
The playhouse has a four-foot-by-eight-foot base with slightly angled walls with more than seven feet of headspace. It includes a roof dormer, a Maine cedar front porch, and the cutests shingles and paint! Don’t miss your chance to bid on this cutie! And of course, don’t miss the home tour on Saturday and Sunday, either.
