Our favorite eco-friendly Junk King franchise has partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of America to ensure Christmas is merry and bright for thousands of children with their HAULidays Toy Drive.

“Last year we kicked off the HAULidays Toy Drive nationally, and it really resonated and connected with people,” Dallas Junk King franchise owner Renee Ferguson said. “As the drive gets better known, I think it will grow, and that’s what we hope for because we want to put smiles on the kids’ faces. We’ve all been through a difficult time recently, many people don’t have much support, especially kids, and It’s wonderful when the community can come together to offer support and give back. The volunteers at the Boys and Girls Club are so grateful. They aren’t used to seeing this many toys come in. We had the equivalent of two pickup trucks filled last year!”

Junk King has placed donation drop-off boxes with six local businesses, including Keller Williams. Donations of new, unwrapped toys are being accepted until Wednesday, December 8, so you still have time to make it to one of the locations!

“Keller Williams has really thrown their support behind us this year,” Ferguson said. “Many agents are not in the office, but they sent an email and also supported it through their young professionals’ group.”

Junk King requests donors take a photo of their new unwrapped toy and share it on social media. By tagging @Junk KingFranchise and using the hashtag #JKHAULidays to increase awareness. The Junk King crews will collect the donated toys and deliver them to the Boys & Girls Club of Dallas.
