When you have a design dream team and trusting clients like David and Emberli Pridham involved, the answer to the question posed in the headline is yes. This is the most beautiful House in Highland Park.
Jan Showers & Associates created the interiors, and Ornata Residential Services implemented the architectural design of JJGDesign, resulting in the most beautiful house in Highland Park.

Showers had an intimate knowledge of the home as she was the designer for a previous owner. When the Pridhams purchased it, they needed a plan that would suit their needs and those of their children. You see, children figure large in the Pridham family. Not only do they have three kiddos under 8, but they also started a flourishing family business focused on children while living here.

Farrow & Ball’s Light Blue was used in the foyer, living room and study.

Custom Gracie wallpaper adorns the formal dining room walls.
The most beautiful home in Highland Park is also the most inspiring.
David Pridham is the CEO of a technology company that deals with patents and inventions. His passion for invention and innovation runs deep. When his kids started to ask what Daddy did every day, the couple had an epiphany. Why not write a book to explain the importance of inventing, imagination, and creativity?
The If Not You, Then Who? book series was launched. With titles like “The Inventor in the Pink Pajamas,” “Going Green,” and “Let The Games Begin,” they are easy to understand. They also carry some sophisticated messaging. Be creative, protect your ideas, and respect the ideas of others. The company has expanded with a young inventors club for families to join and compete in creation and invention activities.
The goal is to show young readers from all backgrounds that no dream is too big and no dreamer is too small to succeed.

In the Christopher Peacock kitchen, even the La Cornue range is in a soothing custom blue hue.

It’s easy to see how creativity unfolded in such a warm and inspiring environment. Showers enveloped the home in a soothing palette of blues and pinks that seemed to be plucked from a Monet painting.
We all know flexibility is key with a growing family, so the 8,256-square-foot home is cleverly configured to provide up to seven ensuite bedrooms. Currently, it’s arranged for use with five bedrooms, an exercise room, and a playroom. I’d be hesitant to give up that wonderful playroom. It makes living innovatively and creatively in a beautiful home with three children much easier!

The front yard and turfed backyard were designed by Southern Botanicals with a pool, terraces, balconies, a screened porch, and a sports court.
