Dallas’ Most Exclusive High-Rise Hall Arts Residences Raises More Than Just the Bar

If I had just one word to describe the gleaming new Hall Arts Residences in the Dallas Arts District opening this spring, I’d say they are simply exquisite.

These very thoughtfully-designed and masterfully constructed homes offer sweeping views and state-of-the art luxuries like Bulthaup kitchen systems, Gaggenau appliances, Dornbracht kitchen and bath fittings, and an ultra-rare and sought-after floating, or raised floor system.

It’s literally taking luxury to new heights. The homes at the top of Hall Arts Residences tower have the ultimate customization and freedom. These premier shell spaces on floors 20 through 28 offer a raised floor system, which creates an 18-inch open space between the floor of each residence and the structural slab of the building.

That resulting space offers many capabilities. First, it allows for an extraordinary level of ease and flexibility for placing walls, plumbing, electricity, and technology cabling.

Big on my list, it offers increased sound dampening and consistent heating and air conditioning flow.

And, when renovating for spatial changes or new technology, the raised-floor system gives homeowners maximum levels of flexibility while minimizing discomfort to neighbors during the process: Wiring can be rerouted or upgraded with minimal interference to homeowners’ everyday activities.

Hall Arts Residences brims with “thoughtful design,” as developer Craig Hall calls it. With an average home size of an impressive 3,800 square feet, a great deal of thought has gone into every little detail.

Among its many eco- and health-friendly features, the building will be WELL Building Certified, offering multilevel air filtration, sound-deadening floor membranes and even interior-design palettes that optimize light to maximize comfort.

Rich materials — French white oak, marble, quartz — are used throughout. The building’s amenities are top-notch too: a resort-style pool; heated spa; a fitness studio; private entertaining and meeting spaces; a climate-controlled wine cellar for private storage; a full catering kitchen; a private dog park; and a putting green.

Even better, residents can enjoy all of the luxuries at their next-door neighbor— the boutique Hall Arts Hotel, which opened in December. That means priority access and discounts on great dining, private room service, guest rooms for visitors and more.

Even the brokerage that Hall Arts Residences has partnered with, Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, is top notch. Robbie Briggs, the brokerage’s president and CEO, announced the partnership in his letter in the October 11, 2019, issue of The Wall Street Journal. “I have long admired big thinkers,” Briggs wrote, “[and] one of the loftiest thinkers is Craig Hall.”

The Hall Arts Residences sales office is currently located on the second floor of KPMG Plaza at 2323 Ross Avenue, directly adjacent to the residences. The property’s new residential model spaces will open this spring inside the completed high-rise at 1747 Leonard Street. The exquisite tower is already 30 percent sold, so now is the time to secure one of these limited-edition dream homes in the sky.
