Are you ever like, “Gee, I’d really love to restyle my home?” But who has the time to shift through the sale section at Home Goods? And also … kind of not your style?

Get this — a band of ragtag stylish people is hosting a pop-up this weekend called Good Eye and opening night is Friday, Oct. 7.

Who is this band of stylish brothers? Well, it’s three stylists – Malina Pearson, Amy Hays, and Michael Malone — plus architect William Baker and vintage goods dealer Amy Strickland. Collectively they have some of the best taste in the game and they’re selling everything from vintage cowboy boots, which are NOT to be turned into planters, to hand-selected throw rugs, throw pillows, pottery, wall art, décor, and more.

A Soul And a Story

Pearson said everything featured has a soul and a story. There’s nothing too slick and the price range will be varied. Some of the merchandise will be priced to sell and some of the vintage Native American jewelry will be at the higher end of your bank account.

She did also promise pearl snap shirts, hats, and boots out the wazoo. And pottery and textiles, just a really eclectic mix that all blends together in a style she’s calling Marfa modern and folkish.

At first, she wasn’t sure how everything would fit together. After all, you have five distinct contributors, each with their own point of view. But when they were pulling it all together, it was pretty spectacular.

There’s a sneak peek of the shop sprinkled throughout this glorious write-up and if you’d like to get the goods, you’ll want to be there early. Like 5:59 p.m. It’s guaranteed to be a party with people and things and sparkling conversation and street parking. (It’s on Haskell!)

This isn’t the first time this crew has pulled together an enviable pop-up. In the past, they hosted Wigwam in Bishop Arts, with the first premiering at the original Better Block. Stop by and see if this is the best one yet.

See you there, suckers.
